Just want to advise that Canada is expericing major disruptions due to rotating strike action at Canada Post. As of last week Canada Post has indicated to all members of UPU to stop forwarding mail to Canada. Those that have exchanges to Canada may want to hold off mailing until the strike is resolved.

The same thing happens in South Africa quite often - the strike in 2018 went on for months. Very surprised to see it in Canada

The mail is moving but because of the backlog expect delays in delivery.

Posties were back on the job as of 13:00 Tuesday so hopefully everything will be back to normal in a couple of days.

Australia Post have advised that until further notice (and until Canada Post have gone through their backlog of mail), no further mail to Canada will be accepted!
