Used stamps exchanges.

Hi guys,
Has anyone had issues sending to Italy lately? I have 2 envelopes to Italy now over 30 days not arrived. I know that's not too long yet but usually to Europe my envelopes take 10-20 days (from NZ). Did I make the covers too pretty? Just wondering if anyone else has the same as me, or anyone in Italy knows the post there?

I did read the article, the postman had over half ton of mail stashed in his garage dating back to 2010 if I recall correctly. Same thing happened here in the state of Louisiana as of late, and Illinois a couple of years back. Tony

Um, this is something abnormal, what did the postman from Vicenza. I have not seen that yet, um.

In some cases Emily.... I did simply resent. Its a risk we have.

Thank you guys for your feedback. I expect Russia to be slow (usually 100+ days for my envelope to get there), but hey it's a huge country and far away! I was just surprised that Italy would be so slow. I have to be patient and hope they are not lost.

I agree with Emily, italian post Service is extremely slow I am from Austria, so in neighborhood to Italy. I have some private exchange partners there and I receive letters not within three weeks (and so the other way round).
I am still missing a letter to an italian member (galassek) for 426 days!

I do not like the insinuation about India. I have had 20+ exchanges so far. I received each one of them and none of my mails were lost. My other exchanges too have been similarly uneventful. However, of late, I have been facing with stamps "sent" from USA and Belgium. Have "lost" three mails.

Sent an envelop to Italy last year june, never arrived, on other occasions one empty envelop arrived (so I was told), another one never arrived. So far three envelops to Italy never arrived, it's the worst country to send an envelop to, is my experience.
Or maybe India???

Dear Francesc! Our post service - is our great pain. But sometimes it works not so bad. Be patient with Russia! ;)
