discoloration, perfins and see thru cancellations are not damage

Coloring from the envelope and ink pencil reduces the price of the stamp.
I would make 3-4 stars.

I send stamps all the time with hinge remnants. If they are that great a problem then just soak them off. I also receive many stamps with hinges still attached. Doesn't bother me at all as long as the stamp is sound with no faults. I sometimes overlook a damaged stamp as most times I get 100+ stamps. Plus you have in most cases a nice stamp on the envelope. I have sent and received over 100 lots and I have yet to give less than a 5 and I have received only one 4. the rest have been 5. Unless the rules are grossly ignored, then I think some collectors should lighten up a bit. Remember guys/gals, it's supposed to be a fun hobby. Smile and happy collecting.

Ok so I guess hinge remnants are not damaged stamps in professional collectors' eyes, in this case I did not received so many damaged stamps as imagined so that should be a 3. I admit that it is my mistake. The enevolope has nothing to do with the rating, it arrives intact with 3 definitive stamps and I have no problem with that. As you all have stated above this should be a happy hobby and now you are attempting to taking away my freedom to express, you are pressuring others by saying something as passive aggressive as "chill and get over yourself and always rate up or you are problematic."

I respect people who tried to convince me with philately related knowledge. But other than that, if you believe that it should be a happy hobby, leave others and their opinions alone unless they are violating community rules, it is tyranny to force your philosophy upon others.
