Used stamps exchanges.

I am relatively new to the group & of the 5 suggested exchange partners I've found it impossible to meet the restricted wants from 3 of them. They don't want stamps from certain countries, they don't want stamps before or after certain years. I enjoy getting stamps from any country & any duplicates are re-exchanged or donated. Why do people state such restricted wants? I'm thinking of cancelling the 3 latest suggestions. What do other group members do?

Also don't forget "I want commemorative stamps on the envelope". It's nice to get them, but if you don't, it doesn't violate any rules.

Same, I try to match as much as possible and then the rest are stamps in good condition. The issue arises if certain members penalize you for that by giving a less than 5 scores, but so far that seems to be rare

Mike, just send what you can in those areas if you want. You are not required to meet those "restricted wants" although it is nice when you can meets some of those needs. If I cannot meet the needs of the person whose name I have drawn, I try to include something that might be of interest.

You are only required to send 100 used stamps in good condition. Anything else they can ask for, but you don't have to give.
