Stamp condition

This is just for information purposes only. No complaint or anything like that.
Here in Canada our PO issues stamps in various formats. Sheet/booklet/coil. Normally most stamps from sheets are perf all round (either perf or die-cut). Some however are produced with straight edges on the entire sheet, or one or two sides (stamps in the 1960s for example) So some stamps will have straight edge on top/bottom/or side. A corner stamp from these sheets will have two straight edges. Coils of course are self explanatory. They will have straight edges on opposite sides. (top/bottom or left/right sides). The same stamp in booklet form can be either perf all round or perf on 3 sides.
So if you should receive any of these stamps do not consider them damaged as that is the way they were printed. (so for some stamps you can collect 5 varieties if you so wish. I do.)
On the other hand torn/bent/corners missing are indeed damaged stamps.
Happy stamping.
