Used stamps exchanges.

Today I received an envelop: http://100stamps.club/stamps/RU-1196

Another member wrote that the stamps were recycled. Didn't want to believe that but held it towards the light and it is very clear that the stamps are recycled. Can clearly see other (hidden) cancellations.

Very disappointing.

First of all, I don't want to blame to sender. Maybe someone in the postoffice did this.
But this is something you can avoid.
What do other members of this club think of this? And is it a reason to change the rating?

I think that is more than acceptable. Thats is adding value to the enveloppe.

that is acceptable, of course // maybe even only way to send FDC out of "that particular day"

i used to send envelopes with postal mark of my home town - stamped on 11.11.11
i just added the stamp for sending

Well... I use old envelopes with old stamps and then, we add current Spanish postal stamps as per the tariff we must pay. We do it like this because we are sending you a type of funny precircultated envelope, sometimes, a FDC, but we of course, pay what we must pay, simply, we want to send you a collectable envelope too

it is trick to save postal costs...

I had some cases like this, but here in club - 2 covers - both from Russian senders....

my opinion: it is not against club rules, but it is against Postal rules and common sense. Who wants to receive cover with reused stamps? I throw them away...

This is not the first case of an envelope from Russia. I have at home a few of those where Kramle's stamps are stuck on a stamp. But it can't be. If I stick the stamps like this, the postman sends me home.
