Hi Ken, just thought I'd let you know that
. 4 of the stamps you sent were damaged, so leaving me with only 98 undamaged stamps.
. because you had included quite a few self-adhesive stamps where the adhesive had not been fully removed, most of the stamps ended up all stuck together; when I first took them out of the envelope I thought I would destroy a few of them in attempting to separate them; in the end no such damage was done, but it took me quite a few minutes and now I have stamps which, without further work to remove the rest of the adhesive, I can't place into an album or send on to somebody else.
. interestingly I was recently marked down by another member because I had left some self-adhesive stamps which were very difficult to separate from the paper on the paper - and the other member objected to receiving stamps on paper.
. no idea where that leaves us - some don't like receiving stamps on paper, some don't like having all their stamps stuck together because it's so difficult removing all the adhesive.
Cheers,
Mark
