I thought for a long time about giving a 3.
What you can't see is on the scan that many of the (rest)portugese stamps are slightly damaged in the corners. I only complained the heavenly damaged!
And the rest: very common US and portugese definitives.
So I think a 3 would be unfair on other members.

I am really not picky, but I have no comprehension for sending damaged stuff!

She is new in the club. Maybe she did not notice stamps on rear side, are in bad condition.
It happens sometimes.

I am with Wolfgang. Had a pretty nasty discussion a few weeks ago with a new member. I gave him a 3 for a similar lot you see here. He got rude as he fully expected to get a 5. Even new members know the difference between undamaged and damaged stamps. And I even think that they do know their very common stamps from those that are wanted here in the club :).

I did received junk from this member also (PT-814) but I gave a 4* rating hoping that eventually
I'll have to send stamps to him/her and return what I received. Members should realized that if they send crap, crap is what they will get in return.

Jessica is absolutely right. Being a new member is no reason and apology for sending damaged stamps. Most of the members here are collecting for a long time, they are only new in this club.
Who would exchange these stamps in a swap meet, in a personal meeting???
