Hello,
The stamps were quite common , in fact I could find only two stamps that I wanted. There were five damaged stamps in the lot of 102. The stamp used on cover was a common definitive when a few commemoratives would have been extremely useful. I still give you a 5 because none of what I mentioned permits be to give anything less than that. Should also tell you that the flap of the envelope had opened in transit. There was inadequate gum on the flap, perhaps it was a peel and stick flap. I reckon this would have happened at the fag end of the envelope's journey because nothing was lost.
This is in contrast to your mail and comments when I had sent you a few months back. Common stamps, 10 damaged and a custom opened cover ( for which I cannot be held responsible). I usually send out 105- 110 stamps just to compensate for a few damaged stamps which may slip into the lot inadvertently. And you gave me a 4.
I do not have many recent Indian stamps to spare. Used Indian commemoratives are not easy to find . Will let you know when I can find 100 to send. And I would prefer to swap on catalogue value basis and not on a 1:1 basis.
Thank you,
Anand
