Used stamps exchanges.

I wonder what is the use of publishing a photo like NL-806 when you rate a 5.
We discussed before that new members look at te pictures and get terrified and won't join this club when they see pictures like this. And it is actually a good batch because it was rated a 5.
Why don't we publish only pictures of good batches to keep this place a happy place instead of dragging attention to 1 or 2 damaged stamps.

Allright... But why not ALSO publish what's good then?

I love seeing this place as a happy place

Publishing good photos only will only lead to people getting wrong impressions.

People will see all the good stamps in photos, join, and get a garbage lot. And if they can't publish a photo of the stuff they got because it was bad, they'll likely leave.

On the other hand, publishing bad photos, will draw people's attention to what is not acceptable in such exchanges. If the fault is not particularly well visible in a photo, marking it with a circle (or otherwise) is also something I support.
