Used stamps exchanges.

Can someone please clarify for me......Can you be rated low for not sending what is on your partners wish list? My understanding is it is a wish list but if you do not have stamps that fit it then as long as you send quality stamps then you should be rated based on stamps sent. I always try to send from peoples wants but time to time I just do not have them and am being rated lower for this. Can we do anything about these low ratings as I see them as unfair and effect your future swaps.

i do not rate based on wishlist :) i rate 5 if majority of stamps are in good condition and postally used. 3 if in good condition but a lot of definitives or cto. when more than 10% are damaged (+ many definitives and cto) i rate 2 or 1 ...rating based on wishlist is not acceptable. neither rating someone 1 or 2 because stamps are on paper! im very sorry Minnie if someone did that to you, it was not fair :(

The rules are in the "Send stamps" page. They are simple and based on common sense and mutual respect. The rules are not very detailed because the collectors and their views are very diverse and complex.

The wish list is optional, not mandatory. Unfortunately here will always be some subjectivity in those ratings.

The effects of those low ratings are not permanent. Only the last 10 exchanges are considered. So if you get one unfair low rating, the effects wont last very long. But if you get low ratings from more then one person in the last 10 exchanges it probably means that something must change.

Well there no rules (as far as I know) about the rating. For me it goes like this:
1-2 stars: Rules not followed
3-5 stars: Rules followed (the amount of definitives, CTOs and very normale stamps 1960-1990'ish) make the difference between the 3 levels)
If people expect stamps from the wishlist, 100stamps.club isen't the right place, it is randome swapping here, and the wishlist can only be a guidence. Of course if the wishlist is followed, it for me can change the rating positivly = a lot I would have rated 3 can get 4 if the sender have followed my wishlist.
When I have seen some of the pictures and the rating for it, I really dont understand the rating. But hopefully the receiver have explained the rating in the message. If I have given less than 5 I also write the resson for the rating
