Hello, I'm Erik from Slovenia and I collect stamps for fun. Back in the days I collected all kinds of stamps, but a few years ago I decided to start collecting fauna, flora and fungi issued stamps (used or mint, doesn't matter to me) because I'm very interested in nature. I also study biology, so I sort my stamps by phylogenetic tree if I can identify the organisms in stamps.
My personal favourite issues on stamps are orchids, amphibians (frogs, newts, snakes etc.), Arctic and Antarctic flora and fauna (polar bears, polar foxes, puffins etc.), parrots, fungi.
