what if...

Hi guys! I have a question: I just got an address for exchange, but looking at the requests of the receiver, I don't have almost anything that satisfy his/her request. We collect very different sort of stamps and I'm afraid that what I will send will be disappointing for that person.. So, give me an advice: shall I still send him as much possible that can satisfy him/her or do you think it's possible to cancel the exchange? Sorry to bother you, I'm still quite new here and I want to make sure I will exchange fairly with the receiver. Thank you in advance for your reply

Exchanges can't be canceled. Each member receives slots proportionally with the number of sent lots. When you received the address of a member, that slot is consumed. If you don't sent the stamps to that member, that member will actually be losing one slot.

It's important to send the stamps even if they don't meet entirely the preferences of your partner. But keep in mind the quality rules.

Also, if a member prefers some themes or years that are harder to find, that member understands this and probably already expects not to receive too many of the specified stamps.

If you try as much as possible, it should be ok.

You are right Igor. Thank you so much for your suggestion. I think it's gonna be much easier that way, so I'm gonna write him and ask him what can I send him of what I have and hope it will work out.
