What happens if an exchange goes astray?
31 Mar 2019, 15:07:20
I posted an exchange about 50 days ago (to Chile from Australia) and I think it has gone astray as it has not been registered yet. What happens in these situations?
Can anyone tell me?

I am sure I must have sent that envelope vibes as since asking the question last night here in the forum, the sending arrived and was registered this afternoon. So I am not worried now - it's all good.

Hello Sharon :)
Welcome too :)
Unfortunately, there are envelopes lost in the way. I participate here with my son, and we have some envelopes lost somewhere in the itinerary. After 90 days, you get your slot back to be sent again. Sometimes, when we write to other members, we and/or they, do validate the register number, so none looses at least, slots. But it will happen always Sharon, some envelopes get lost. In India, in Spain, in Rusia and in the Antartida. There is no difference because of the country, at least for us.
Good luck, and enjoy exchanges :)

Sharon, welcome to my club! I posted a mailing to Chile some 64 days ago. BTW a shipment on your way 9 days ago.
