Removing stamps from paper

How can you remove sticker-like stamps from paper? I always demage them, while trying to take them off, so rather leave them on the paper.

Here in the US we have a product called Pure Citrus that is sold on the air freshner aisle. Its 100% Orange Peel Oil.

Hi, personally, I just leave them on paper and clip about 2 mm around the edge. this usually allows them to fit inside the blocks on most printed albums. If you use stock books or make your own albums then there is no problem. But in any case, I would leave them alone and just clip, rather than damage the stamp, especially if it's the only one you have. I find these stamps more and more these days that are hard to soak so I just clip. Happy stamping.

The Die cut self adhesives are almost impossible to clean off paper by the usual soaking. Here is a link to a useful youtube video.
