Used stamps exchanges.

Lately I'm getting several letters with damaged stamps. I'm not complaining about a few but sometimes up to 20-30%. Is this only happening to me?

Even if you don't consider it bad enough for a low review, may it would help to write in the feedback message the things that you liked but also the things that you didn’t like. A heads up. A constructive feedback that would help your partner.

i think at the most i also got 20/100 damaged but almost all envelopes include 1-10 damaged ones but not so badly that it would be obvious (and deserve negative rating)

I did get 20 out of 100 damaged stamps only twice (from 100+ letters received so far). The damage was so evident (scissor clipped edges, foxing) that they shouldn't have been sent at all. Otherwise, the rate of damaged stamps is quite low, like 3-4 per 100. I think this was discussed in past threads. This should be stated more clearly on the site, maybe a help button or a welcome mail with basic rules will do.

I completely agree with Peter. This is the main problem in the club. And not discussed much either. Around 15 damaged stamps in a selection is more or less normal the way I see it. The record is 57 damaged ones in one single selection. I think calculating average numbers of stars wil help somewhat. But we have to accept that we do not have the same criteria when we decide what is a damaged stamp.

I do get damaged stamps also but only 2 or 3 out of a 100, the problem is that the damage is so obvious that the stamps shouldn't have been sent in the first place. Getting 20-30% damaged stamps is way too high if you ask me. Tony
